Born in Australia, Scott spent his early childhood relocating on many occasions owing to his fathers occupation as a Flight Engineer with the Royal Australian Air Force. In 1986 the family moved to Hong Kong as Scott's father was offered the opportunity to work with Cathay Pacific. It was during these years that Scott's highly adaptive and 'driven to succeed' nature developed in order to facilitate easy transitions both between schools and across different cultures.
Having successfully completed the GCSE in Hong Kong, Scott returned to Australia to complete the remainder of his secondary schooling at Wesley College where Scott took an active roll in encouraging overseas students to participate in the schools sports. Having observed that a large number of overseas students were not inclined to participate in the interschool sporting events, Scott was instrumental in introducing Badminton to the Private Schools Association of Western Australia. In his final year at Wesley College, Scott was honored to receive a school trophy with 'Award for Outstanding Achievement' engraved on the plaque for recognition of his role in ensuring that Badminton became a PSA recognized sporting event.
After successfully completing the Tertiary Entrance Examinations, Scott went on to study Hospitality Management at the prestigious Bentley College of Technical and Further Education which specializes in the Hospitality sector.
Over the next 15 years, Scott honed his skills in training and development and human resource management, and has held Food & Beverage managment positions with employers such as The Crown Casino Melbourne, Fraser Island Resort Queensland, The Mandarin Oriental Hotel Hong Kong, Elite Concepts Hong Kong, The Epicurean Group Hong Kong, and Igors Group Hong Kong.
An exceptionally focused and motivated individual, Scott is committed to a mentality of continuous improvement and is devoted to achieving the highest results.
Scott enjoys spending his private time with his wife and son, and loves hiking, mountain biking and exploring nature trails. |
