Keith Kefgen is Chief Executive Officer of HVS Executive Search. Keith has more than 20 years of experience in the field of hospitality executive search. He is a frequent lecturer on industry related issues and has written more than 100 articles on the topics of executive selection, pay-for-performance, corporate governance and executive leadership. He is a graduate of the Cornell University Hotel School.

David Mansbach is Partner, North America for HVS Executive Search specializing in retained executive search and compensation consulting for the restaurant, hotel and gaming industries. He is also an investor in GrowthPoint Partners, an investment firm specializing in early stage restaurant companies including Chop’t Creative Salad. David is a frequent lecturer on issues relating to executive selection, pay for-performance and corporate governance and has written several articles for publications such as Hotel Business, Hotels Magazine, Chain Leader Magazine, Restaurant Finance Monitor and Chain Store Age Magazine.

Doug Rosen is Partner, North America with HVS Executive Search. He joined HVS in September 2000 to launch one of the company’s first internet businesses - Hospitality Career Network - and has since developed an expertise in retained executive search, compensation consulting, and performance management. A frequent speaker at industry events, Doug is also regularly invited by his clients to conduct training seminars for their senior executives. His workshops focus on emerging technologies that align with recruitment and retention strategies. Doug is an avid triathlete and finds that the hospitality industry is one of the best conduits for his sporting endeavors.

James Houran, Ph.D., is a veteran in applied psychological research, Dr. Houran first joined HVS Executive Search in 2005 as President of the firm’s 20|20 Assessment™ service, the only employee assessment and development programme specifically designed for the hospitality industry. Dr. Houran is a recognized expert on peak performance, online testing and interpersonal and organizational compatibility. In his role as Partner, he leads the firm’s Performance Management service.

Dr. Houran has authored over 100 articles, and his award-winning work has been profiled by a myriad of media outlets and programs including the Discovery Channel, A&E, BBC, Court TV, NBC’s Today Show, USA Today, New Scientist, Psychology Today and Forbes.com. Dr. Houran is also a regular contributor to many service industry forums, including 4hoteliers.com, TTG Global Publishing, Daily Hotel Industry News, Enterprise Innovation, Global Hospitality Newsletter and Daily Restaurant Industry News, Convention South Magazine and Hospitality Magazine.

Juliette Boone brings a wealth of experience in her 18-year hospitality industry career. She has a diverse professional background including hotel food and beverage operations, culinary arts, catering sales and operations, contract food service, concept development, hospitality education, and hotel consulting and valuation. Her experience is complemented with a Master’s degree in Hospitality Management and Bachelor of Science from Cornell University.

Court comes to HVS Executive Search with over 20 years of executive search experience in the hospitality industry. His background also includes leading the human resources department with Sbarro Inc.,an international restaurant chain and nine years in restaurant operations throughout the United States. Court has served as a student coach with Cornell University’s Hospitality Leadership Development Institute since 1998, and is also an executive coach for MBA students at The Johnson School of Business. In 2009, he was appointed to the Advisory Council for Washington DC based, New Brand Analytics, a firm which provides real time consumer insight intelligence to hospitality companies through the use of social media. Court earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Hotel Administration from Cornell University.

Paige Brewer is Senior Vice President of HVS Compensation Consulting. She has a rich background in total rewards management within a number of industries including consumer goods, publishing/media, financial services, and hospitality. She previously owned her own consulting firm, working with clients such as Kerzner International, United Business Media, Dannon Inc., Kaplan, AOL, and Time Inc., providing advice on executive compensation programming. Previously, she spent 12 years at American Express and Diageo in their compensation & benefits department. Paige serves on the HR Committee for the United Way of Western CT. In her role Paige will be responsible for heading HVS teams around the world to deliver more detailed and insightful compensation management solutions to clients.

Andrew Hazelton is Vice President at HVS Executive Search New York. Andrew has spent several years in the executive search industry, including six years with Korn/Ferry International where he was responsible for completing a number of C-suite searches. He has worked on assignments for several industries including Healthcare, Technology, Finance, Hospitality, and Real Estate. Andrew is a key member of HVS’s North America team and focuses exclusively on assignments for the hotel industry.

Erica Arnold first joined HVS in 2006 in the company’s consulting and valuation division, providing appraisal services for properties throughout the United States, the Caribbean, and the Middle East. She went on to work for Starwood’s Sheraton and Westin brands in the United States before coming back to HVS in 2010. Erica now specializes in the firm’s mid-management recruitment service HVS Career Network (HCN). Her extensive hotel operational experience includes group/leisure sales, hotel/spa operations, revenue management, quantitative/statistical analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and property management systems. This in-depth knowledge of the industry provides Erica with ideal insight into understanding our clients’ needs and the demands of their recruitment assignments.

Zachary Peikon joined HVS Executive Search as a consultant in our mid-management recruitment service. Before joining HVS, Zachary worked for Madison Square Garden focusing on business development. He holds a master’s of business administration in strategic management from Baruch College and a bachelor’s in political science from Boston University.
