HVS Executive Search Co-President North America David Mansbach was recently interviewed by Nation’s Restaurant News (NRN) on the latest recruitment and compensation trends as unemployment continues to plague the US restaurant industry.

HVS Executive Search and Nation’s Restaurant News partnered last fall to conduct a comprehensive survey of compensation data and trends in the restaurant industry. The 2009 Chain Restaurant Executive Compensation Study is an in depth analysis of data on pay and benefit offerings from 78 companies, 55 of which are privately held and 23 that are publicly traded. Of the respondents, 20 were multi-concept operators, and 58 were single-brand operations.
