The Project
Global Hyatt Senior Vice President, Jim Abrahamson, tapped HVS Executive Search to find a leader to build a new select service development organization to launch two of the industry’s most exciting new brands, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites.

The HVS Assignment
A nationwide search was conducted and Chris Ivy, Regional Vice President Development at Marriott was hired as Senior Vice President Development of Global Hyatt Select Division.

The Results
Chris, in turn, hired HVS to build his franchise development team and the results have been outstanding. Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites have developed a significant new build pipeline and are exceeding expectations.
