The Project
As one of Marriott International’s European Project Directors was returning to the United States with the company, the need for a new European Project Director arose, in order to handle the growing number of new build, conversion, and renovation projects within the EMEA region.

The HVS Assignment
Marriott International hired HVS Executive Search London to conduct a search for a Project Director to join their Architecture & Construction EMEA team in Eschborn, Germany. A global search was undertaken to find a new Project Director with the prerequisite hotel project management and language experience.

The Results
Petra Maluck was selected as Project Director. Previously, Petra was Project Manager at Robinson Club’s Technical Services and Development department in Hannover, Germany. Petra’s extensive hotel project management experience, in combination with her understanding of five European languages, was among the key factors in her favour.
