In recent years the hospitality industry has made significant development in the 'green' department, but the issue of people, and the pursuit of their basic human rights, remain shrouded by the obscurity of idealism. This article is a challenge to the industry's most innovative leaders to change the status quo of this evolving industry; and presents some guidelines to help them factor human rights into strategic decision-making.
